I am using these stainless steel cable ties in place of standard T-post fence clips that get pushed off by our ornery livestock. They are quick as zip ties to put on, and simple to trim the excess off. They can serve as hinges for a wire panel gate as well when left with a bit of slack. It is tricky to get the flat strip into the slot on the tool to use the tightening winch but one you get the hang of it, you are in business! No more stiff wrists from twisting and squeezing those old fence clips!!! These are a breeze!

Awesome kit esp the zip ties, they last longer than plastic ties. The tool that came with the ties works great for tightening and cutting the excess off.

Tool is excellent at tightening the steel cable ties and cutting excess These are strong enough that they cannot be tighten just by hand. Does require a long tail to get started, and the size of the tool gets in the way in tigh spaces but these are the best I've used.

Very cool, easy to use and saves your hands from the pain of using regular zip ties. I used over a hundred of these ties and it didn't wipe out my hands. The included cutter works great if you make a mistake.

Got this to replace the zip ties that keep breaking on my chicken run. Took a bit to figure out how exactly it works, but I got it. It does not get the steel ties very tight, or maybe my hands aren't strong enough to squeeze the handle to be tighter, not sure but I still like it better than zip ties.

Work great gor tightening and cutting the bands, but after a month of constant use the "clamp" that holds the back of the band while cutting no longer releases the tension on the excess cut band and has to be released manually. This started around the 500th band to be cut.

These things work great for anywhere that’s subject to a lot of heat or sunlight. I am going to also use them to secure heat wrap to the headers and exhaust on my truck.

This is a pretty great kit if you will be using stainless steel ties. We have gone through several hundred of them on our chicken coop, and this tool is a HUGE time saver. It both pulls the ties tight, and cuts the tail off. The ties themselves are very strong and work great for holding fencing and such together.I knocked the kit one start because the included scissors are absolutely awful. Polar opposite of the tightener/cutter tool. Super cheap steel, poorly assembled, and the edge did not last long. Ended up throwing the scissors away they were so junky. I considered them a toss in with the rest of the kit and wasn't overly concerned about it as the rest of the kit is great.Overall very pleased with this kit, and it's gotten a lot of use!
